Delete Your Noor Quran Account
This page is public and does not require sign-in. Noor Quran provides in-app and web self-service deletion for users who can sign in, plus a support path for users who cannot access their account.
Delete in the Android app
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Enter your current password and acknowledge that device-only data remains.
- Choose Permanently delete account.
The app confirms completion, clears its saved account session, and returns you to an unsigned-in state.
Delete through the Noor Quran website
- Go to Noor Quran Sign in.
- Open Account → Export & deletion.
- Enter your current password and choose Close account.
- Review the confirmation explaining that local device data is separate, then confirm.
This self-service route is available without contacting support when you can sign in.
What deletion does
Completed account deletion removes the account profile, authentication and recovery credentials, sessions, device registrations, synced preferences, and supported synced library data, including bookmarks, notes, collections, reading and listening progress, memorisation activity, and Khatm activity. The account email and password verifier are removed or de-identified.
A de-identified account tombstone, deletion-completion record, and limited security audit records remain. A fixed purge period is not currently defined for those records.
What remains on your device
Account deletion does not remotely erase data stored only on an offline or unconnected device. Clear Noor Quran's application or browser storage, or uninstall the application, if you also want to remove that local copy. Quran application assets and public Quran content are not personal account data.
